Basketball Recap: Forsan Takes a Loss

After flying high against Eldorado last Friday, Forsan came back down to earth. The Forsan Buffaloes were dealt a 66-30 defeat at the hands of the Ozona Lions on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost six in a row.

Forsan's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Ozona, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-7.

Forsan will challenge Sterling City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Forsan is facing Sterling City at the right time seeing as Sterling City is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ozona, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Ozona Lions face off against the Hermleigh Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hermleigh will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Ozona surely won't give up without a fight.
