Basketball Recap: Interlake Takes a Loss

After flying high against Highline last Thursday, Interlake came back down to earth. The Interlake Saints took a blow against the Liberty Patriots on Saturday, falling 66-32. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 72-32 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Interlake lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Harper Moore, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eliana - Gatoni Keza, who scored eight points and five boards.

Interlake's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Liberty, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Interlake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mercer Island at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
