Baseball Recap: Douglas Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Douglas and Flagstaff squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Douglas had to settle for second. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Douglas saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trase Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Douglas' defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-10-1. As for Flagstaff, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Douglas nor Flagstaff have any future games scheduled.
