Basketball Game Preview: Milano Eagles vs. Holland Hornets

Milano and Holland are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Milano Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Holland Hornets at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Milano and seven for Holland.

Milano's tournament run continued when they took on Buffalo on Saturday. Milano was outmatched by Buffalo and fell 69-28. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1262nd, while the Bison are ranked 498th).

Meanwhile, Holland scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 46-35 to Maypearl.

Holland's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Milano, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Milano didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Holland in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 56-50 victory. Will Milano repeat their success, or does Holland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
