Basketball Recap: Mifflin County Comes Up Short

Mifflin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 62-43 to the Lewisburg Green Dragons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 68-46 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2019.

Mifflin County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lewisburg, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Mifflin County and Hershey will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hershey will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mifflin County surely won't give up without a fight. Lewisburg will take on Berwick in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Lewisburg's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
