            Andrew Jackson Academy is 0-3 against Cross since April of 2024 but things could change  on Monday. The Warriors will head out to  square off against the Stingrays  at 6:00  p.m. Andrew Jackson Academy has given up an average of 12.3  runs per game this season, but Monday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Andrew Jackson Academy is headed into Monday's   game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game  on Friday. They came up short against  Dorchester Academy, falling  16-3.
  Ryleigh Trivette made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Sam Stevens, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  triple and one  run.
Meanwhile, Cross was able to grind out a solid  win over Bridges Prep on Friday, taking the game  17-12. The  victory continues a trend for the Stingrays in their matchups with the Buccaneers: they've now won four in a row.
 Sydney Hollings was  incredible,  going 4-for-5 with one  home run, four  runs,  and three  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March of 2024.  Ryan Mayers was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base.
 Cross  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  hit total in three consecutive  matchups.
 Cross' record now sits at 12-7. As for Andrew Jackson Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
