Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Steeleville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They managed a 55-50 win over New Athens on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points per game. As for Steeleville, their win bumped their record up to 7-15.
