Basketball Recap: Holy Cross Sets Scoring Season-High Against Tottenville

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Holy Cross). They blew past the Tottenville Pirates 85-62 on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their 18-point performance the contest before.

Mona Okorie continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 15 boards. Those 23 points gave her a new career-high. Jeeanna Pierantoni was another key player, putting up 21 points and eight rebounds.

Holy Cross smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 44 consecutive games dating back to last season.
