On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kash Ojeda, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February of 2024.
St. Thomas Aquinas' win bumped their record up to 4-0-1. As for True North Classical Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. St. Thomas Aquinas has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like True North Classical Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
