Softball Recap: Churchill Comes Up Short

Churchill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 22-3 to the Crater Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-4 on Tuesday.

Churchill saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jenna Stone, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Churchill's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Crater, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6.

While Churchill had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
