Baseball Recap: Greenland Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lavaca on Monday, Greenland came back down to earth. The Pirates lost 12-2 to the Berryville Bobcats on Thursday. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Greenland now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Berryville, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenland will take on Yellville-Summit at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Berryville, they will challenge Gravette at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
