Owen came tearing into Monday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the NCSSM: Morganton Dragons as they made off with a 64-44 victory. The Warhorses have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Owen was led to victory by Asante Martin and Jack Wesley Burk. Martin went 6-for-9 en route to 15 points, while Burk went 6-for-10 to rack up 15 points and seven rebounds. That's the most boards Burk has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jared Kelley, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds.

Owen's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for NCSSM: Morganton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-17.

As of now, neither Owen nor NCSSM: Morganton have any future games scheduled.
