Basketball Recap: Wautoma Comes Up Short

Wautoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Stanley-Boyd Orioles 77-50. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 477th, while the Orioles are ranked 206th).

Wautoma's loss dropped their record down to 1-23. As for Stanley-Boyd, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Stanley-Boyd beat Wautoma by a score of 77-50 on Tuesday.
