California entered their tilt with Bentworth on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Bearcats. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ricky Lawson was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Logan Hartley was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

California hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bentworth struck out 12 times.

California now has a winning record of 4-3-2. As for Bentworth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

California will have a chance to go back-to-back against Bentworth: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
