Basketball Recap: Tacony Academy Charter Comes Up Short

Tacony Academy Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 58-42 bruising from the Kensington KENSINGTON TIGER. The Lions were probably out for revenge after losing 49-47 to them when the teams met back in December of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kensington's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rob Smith, who posted 18 points. The game was Smith's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reid Smith, who put up 18 points.

Tacony Academy Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Kensington, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
