Christian Academy of Knoxville entered their tilt with King's Academy on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Lions 10-4. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 13 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Blake Jarrard looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Chip Shelton was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Wyatt Jones was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Christian Academy of Knoxville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as King's Academy only posted a batting average of .217.

Christian Academy of Knoxville's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-6-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for King's Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Christian Academy of Knoxville will face off against Frankfort at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for King's Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Lenoir City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
