Softball Recap: Carter-Riverside Comes Up Short

Carter-Riverside lost against Western Hills back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Carter-Riverside Eagles took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Western Hills Cougars. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carter-Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Western Hills, their record now sits at 4-6.

Coming up, Carter-Riverside will take on Eastern Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Carter-Riverside is facing Eastern Hills at the right time seeing as Eastern Hills is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Western Hills, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Western Hills Cougars duke it out with Dunbar Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Dunbar has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16 runs per game on average), something Western Hills will no doubt try to take advantage of.
