It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Desert Pines ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past the Silverado Skyhawks 64-62. The win was nothing new for the Jaguars as they're now sitting on three straight.

Desert Pines' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaden Redding led the charge by going 5 of 7 en route to 14 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds. Mike Taylor was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten boards.

Desert Pines now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Silverado, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Desert Pines has already played their next contest (against Bishop Gorman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Silverado will host Cheyenne at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Silverado is facing Cheyenne at the right time seeing as Cheyenne is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
