Basketball Recap: Austin College and Career Academy Comes Up Short

Austin College and Career Academy kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Perspectives Leadership/Technology Warriors 104-33.

Perspectives Leadership/Technology's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayden Taylor, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten assists. The dominant performance also gave Taylor a new career-high in steals (seven). Another player making a difference was Aiden Horton, who shot 67% from the field to rack up 19 points and three steals.

Coincidentally, Austin College and Career Academy and Perspectives Leadership/Technology will both be playing Shepard the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Astros at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
