Football Game Preview: Somerset Academy Key Lions vs. Ransom Everglades Raiders

The Somerset Academy Key Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Ransom Everglades Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Somerset Academy Key has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with ten straight losses, while Ransom Everglades will come in with three straight victories.

On Thursday, Somerset Academy Key took a blow against St. John Paul II Academy, falling 56-12.

Meanwhile, while Ransom Everglades put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Booker T. Washington. The Raiders breezed past the Tornadoes to the tune of 35-0. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Somerset Academy Key better keep an eye on Matthew Guevara. He was instrumental in Ransom Everglades' win, rushing for 48 yards and three scores, while also throwing for 143 yards on 15 of 24 attempts. Guevara is becoming a predictor of the Raiders' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't).
