Volleyball Recap: Helix Comes Up Short

Helix was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Olympian Eagles. The Highlanders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Helix's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Olympian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Looking ahead, Helix will face off against Patrick Henry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olympian, they will take on Grossmont at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
