Volleyball Recap: Chelsea Takes a Loss

Chelsea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Somerville Highlanders. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Highlanders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Chelsea's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Somerville, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chelsea will venture away from home to take on Everett at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Devils are facing the Crimson Tide at the right time seeing as the Crimson Tide are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Somerville, they are taking a road trip to face off against Malden at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Golden Tornados will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Highlanders surely won't give up without a fight.
