Crean Lutheran had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 43-point drubbing they dealt Laguna Hills on Thursday. The Saints breezed past the Hawks to the tune of 50-7. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 24 points or more this season.

Caden Jones continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 245 yards and four TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes. Ty Johnson was another key player, picking up 119 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Crean Lutheran pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.8 points on average over those games. As for Laguna Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
