Football Recap: Heritage Academy Comes Up Short

Heritage Academy came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Tonopah Valley Phoenix, falling 40-0. The shutout was out of character for the Heroes seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Heritage Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Tonopah Valley, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5.

Looking ahead, Heritage Academy will square off against Glendale Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Heroes will need to watch out since the Griffins have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for Tonopah Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Antelope at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
