Soccer Recap: Grand Terrace Comes Up Short

Grand Terrace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the Jurupa Hills Spartans. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 562nd, while the Spartans are ranked 225th).

Grand Terrace's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Jurupa Hills, their win bumped their record up to 5-2-3.

Grand Terrace will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Carter at 5:45 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Jurupa Hills has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Wiseburn- Da Vinci on the 26th.
