Softball Recap: Merrimack Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Pinkerton

Merrimack faced Pinkerton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Tomahawks came up short against the Astros, falling 7-1. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Tomahawks couldn't push the score so high this time.

Merrimack now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Pinkerton, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.
