Softball Recap: Worthington Takes a Loss

Worthington lost against New Ulm on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-1 to the Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Worthington now has a losing record of 5-6. As for New Ulm, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Worthington will head out on the road to take on St. Peter at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last five games the Saints have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for New Ulm, they will be playing at home against Waseca at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
