After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Iredell, Gorman was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 42-20 margin over the Rising Star Wildcats. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Nathan Rodriguez was a one-man wrecking crew for Gorman as he rushed for 200 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards Rodriguez has posted since back in October of 2023. Garrett Blakney made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Gorman was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 352 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
