Lafayette had already won 20 in a row and they went ahead and made it 21 on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Ursuline Academy Bears. That's more bragging rights for the Lancers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lafayette was led to victory by Aubrey Dumstorff and Alexa Hastings. Dumstorff had 13 digs and two aces, while Hastings had five digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Hastings a new career-high. Addy Wiese also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Lafayette was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive contests.

Lafayette's record is now 36-1. As for Ursuline Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 15-7 record.

Coming up, Lafayette will head out to take on Marquette at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ursuline Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
