Baseball Recap: Westchester Country Day Comes Up Short

Westchester Country Day fell victim to Wesleyan Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 13-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Westchester Country Day saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesse Covington, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Westchester Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 10-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

The Wildcats are facing the Bengals at the right time seeing as the Bengals are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Charlotte Country Day School at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
