Volleyball Recap: Westminster Academy Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Westminster Academy came into Saturday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Cooper City Cowboys by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Zoe Burton paced Westminster Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Burton got some help from Maddie Rogacki and her 16 assists.

Westminster Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Cooper City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Westminster Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Spanish River on the 20th. As for Cooper City, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Fort Lauderdale on the 20th.
