Basketball Recap: Organ Mountain Gets the Win

Organ Mountain won the last time they faced Centennial, and Lenny Washington did his part to make sure it happened again. The Organ Mountain Knights took down the Centennial Hawks 65-48 on Saturday thanks in part to Washington, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten assists. Those ten assists gave him a new career-high.

Organ Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Centennial, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

When Organ Mountain and Centennial next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Organ Mountain will try to stop Roswell's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Organ Mountain is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.6 points per game this season. Similarly, Centennial will try to stop Silver's six-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
