Softball Recap: Wilton-Lyndeborough Takes a Loss

Wilton-Lyndeborough lost against Newmarket back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors lost 22-6 to the Mules. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wilton-Lyndeborough's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Newmarket, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wilton-Lyndeborough will challenge rival Epping at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Newmarket is set to face off against their familiar foe Pittsfield at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mules 3.8, the Panthers 0.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
