Alcester-Hudson had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Centerville Tornadoes with a sharp 16-0 victory. The Cubs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by ten runs or more this season.

Emma Moller was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Alcester-Hudson got a massive performance out of Lexi Miiller, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Jenna Manning was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Alcester-Hudson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .550. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .303 or higher in 12 consecutive games dating back to last season.
