Basketball Recap: Columbus' Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

There's no place like home for Columbus, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They managed a 54-49 win over the Oakfield Oaks on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.

Columbus' victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10. As for Oakfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbus will face off against Lodi at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oakfield, they will head out to square off against Mayville at 7:10 p.m. on Monday.
