Superior has gone a perfect 3-0 against Gilbert Classical Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Panthers will head out to take on the Spartans at 3:45 p.m. Neither Superior nor Gilbert Classical Academy posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

It was a proper cat-fight when Superior duked it out with Ray on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 13-1 to the Bearcats. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Gilbert Classical Academy's offense. They came up short against San Tan Charter on Monday, falling 14-0.

Gilbert Classical Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Fioresi, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Gilbert Classical Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9-1 record this season. As for Superior, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Everything went Superior's way against Gilbert Classical Academy in their previous matchup back in March of 2016, as Superior made off with a 16-0 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
