Volleyball Recap: Gwynedd Mercy Academy Takes a Loss

Gwynedd Mercy Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Germantown Academy Patriots. If the Monarchs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Patriots when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Gwynedd Mercy Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Germantown Academy, their win bumped their record up to 10-6-2.

Coming up, Gwynedd Mercy Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Merion Mercy Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Germantown Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Baldwin at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
