While Bristol Central's victory against Bristol Eastern wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Lancers on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Lancers: they've now won five in a row.

Bristol Central took Bristol Eastern into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 26-28, 25-23, 25-11, 23-25, 15-12.

Lily Kirk paced Bristol Central's offense, picking up 32 kills. Kirk were helped by Caitlyn Carbone and Emalyn Kirk, who contributed two assists each. Gillian Gray controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Bristol Eastern had strong showings from Natalia Vye, who had 16 digs, and Harper Dauphinee, who had 19 digs, 12 kills, and six aces. Vye is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Maria Albert also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

Bristol Central's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Bristol Eastern, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8.

As of now, neither Bristol Central nor the Lancers have any future games scheduled.
