Recap: Osmond/Randolph Hawks vs. Lutheran-Northeast Eagles

Osmond/Randolph's rough 59-36 loss to Lutheran-Northeast on Saturday might stick with them for a while. Osmond/Randolph was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-18.
Defeat or not, Osmond/Randolph got some senior leadership from Xander Brown who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and Baylen Guenther who scored eight points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Guenther has scored all season.
Lutheran-Northeast got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Josh Rojas out in front who scored 18 points along with four steals. Rojas has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tate Collison, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Osmond/Randolph has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Lutheran-Northeast, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osmond/Randolph will take on Wausa at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Lutheran-Northeast, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Battle Creek at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
