Softball Recap: Pomona Catholic Takes a Loss

Pomona Catholic lost against La Salle back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pacers came up short against the Lancers, falling 12-2.

Kirra Hinojos was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Hinojos is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

Pomona Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for La Salle, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Pomona Catholic has already played their next matchup (against St. Genevieve), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for La Salle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-6 win against Rio Hondo Prep on the 12th.
