Basketball Recap: Harmony Science Academy Takes a Loss

Harmony Science Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 53-27 to the Austin Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Harmony Science Academy has suffered against Austin since January 3, 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Harmony Science Academy lost, don't look at Miranda Urquidi-Sauceda. Despite the final result, she went 7 for 16 on her way to 17 points and four steals. Urquidi-Sauceda is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Harmony Science Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Austin, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-14.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Bowie the next time they take the court. Austin will host Bowie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Harmony Science Academy will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
