Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Godley walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Castleberry Lions on Tuesday. Considering Godley have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Rylie Graves and Lexi Tyler scored all three of Godley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Godley is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those 11 games. Castleberry's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-3.

Looking ahead, Godley will take on Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Godley surely won't give up without a fight. Castleberry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
