Kelly Posts Huge Game in 46-28 Win

Starting off the list is Peachtree Ridge's Darnell Kelly, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kelly threw for 237 yards and four touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown.

Duluth had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Kelly it was a similar story. When Kelly last faced the Wildcats back in November of 2023, he rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 179 yards and a touchdown.

Big Game from Joseph As Duluth Fell 46-28

While Duluth might've come up empty on Wednesday, Jahmir Joseph wasn't going down without a fight. Joseph turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 96 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, while also picking up 49 receiving yards.

Duluth's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats challenges Parkview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Peachtree Ridge got the W thanks in part to Bryce Green playing the best football he has all season. Green picked up 72 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 41 yards. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 60 yards.

For the season, Green has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 36 receiving yards per game.

Connor Langford Makes It Two for Duluth

North Gwinnett pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Lafayette and North Gwinnett will take on Meadowcreek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
