Softball Recap: Spring Valley's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

After low-scoring totals in their previous five contest, Spring Valley brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They put the hurt on the Huntington Highlanders with a sharp 13-7 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Timberwolves, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Spring Valley got a massive performance out of Kennedy Davis, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs Davis has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Turner, who went 2-for-5 with three stolen bases and two runs.

With the victory, Spring Valley broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-12. As for Huntington, they dropped their record down to 4-22 with the loss, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Spring Valley nor the Highlanders have any future games scheduled.
