Soccer Recap: Caney Creek Takes a Loss

Caney Creek lost against Grand Oaks back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Caney Creek Panthers came up short against the Grand Oaks Grizzlies, falling 5-1. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly four goals.

Caney Creek's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Grand Oaks, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4-2.

Looking ahead, Caney Creek will square off against Willis at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Caney Creek is facing Willis at the right time seeing as Willis is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Grand Oaks, they will challenge The Woodlands at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Woodlands will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Grand Oaks surely won't give up without a fight.
