Soccer Game Preview: Bath County vs. Bland County

The Bath County Chargers will head out on the road to challenge the Bland County Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Bath County fell victim to Grace Christian and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Warriors. Bath County have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bath County was without their leading scorer, Laci Ryder, in Friday's game. With Ryder sidelined, Ryleigh Phillips got her first action of the season.

Meanwhile, Bland County came up short against Giles on Monday, falling 8-1.

Bath County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-2. As for Bland County, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Bath County beat Bland County by a goal in their previous matchup back in April, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
