Basketball Recap: Newark Collegiate Academy Comes Up Short

Newark Collegiate Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 68-55 to the Payne Tech Lions.

Newark Collegiate Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Payne Tech, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newark Collegiate Academy will host West Side at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Payne Tech, they will square off against Madison at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
