Volleyball Recap: Hamilton Snags 16th Win in Last 20 Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hamilton walked away with it. They came out on top against the Laurel Locomotives by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday.

Hamilton was led to victory by Lundyn Murray and Aurie Duncan. Murray had 11 digs and five assists, while Duncan hit 64.7% for 11 kills and 11 digs, two blocks, and two aces. Those five assists gave Murray a new career-high.

Hamilton is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5-2 record this season. As for Laurel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11-1.

Hamilton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Billings Central Catholic on the 12th. As for Laurel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Beaverhead County on the 13th.
