Softball Recap: Oneida Express vs. Canastota
Oneida strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over Canastota. The Express not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 13, 2025 (when they won 13-0).
Sophia Whipple was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Whipple was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Kimmy Thau was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases and one run. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
