Richard had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.3 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging an 80-34 victory over the Lutheran North Mustangs. Given the Pioneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Mustangs are ranked 426th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Richard pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.2 points per game. As for Lutheran North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
